We put out an open call for Black men to help us rewrite the narrative in our city. We believe that too often we’re shown media that aims to highlight our shortcomings over our greatness…so we took matters into our own hands!

Over 50 Black men showed up to help us demonstrate that Black men in the city of Pittsburgh are great husbands, fathers, leaders, coaches, entrepreneurs, and more.

These men showed up, uplifted each other, networked, and had open conversations about the impact they have on our city. The statistics you see on tv do not represent Black men as a whole. We want better for our Pittsburgh and we aim to be a part of the change.
